1.
The smartest people are often ignored in a crowd. And, the sad part is majority of people lack depth, and thus manners or behaviour. But, you, you are so beautiful and potent, you don't need others' attention. The most successful people, today were often ignored, but now look at them. Take you as an example, you were bullied at school and hardly had one friend to talk to. Change the meaning you give to your life, others' behaviour towards you is not a reflection of who you are, but who they are. It doesn't make you less, it never will. Be proud of your inadequacies and stop apologising for who you are. Develop a character through a mindset. Lastly, you will never feel ignored by everyone, for the one who truly understands life and humanity, will treat you right. One who knows how to treat others is the most educated person in the world.
2.
Neglect can affect the body physically by affecting a child's development and health, sometimes leading to chronic medical problems. Children experiencing neglect often suffer from malnutrition, which causes abnormal patterns for development. Not being given the proper nutrients at certain growth periods can result in stunted growth, and inadequate bone and muscle growth. Brain functioning and information processing may also be affected by neglect. This may lead to difficulty in understanding directions, poor understanding of social relationships, or the inability to complete academic tasks without assistance. Neglected children or adults can have physical injuries like fractures or severe burns that go untreated, or infections, lice and other signs of lack of care. There are many physical effects neglect can have on a person.
3.
[ C or U ] a movement down: The plane began (to make) its final descent into the airport. There is a steep descent (= way down, such as a path) to the village below.
4.
Young children living with a depressed parent are at risk for developing social, behavioral, and emotional problems. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether an increase in subclinical caregiver depression scores was associated with increases in internalizing and externalizing behavior in children who are at high risk for maltreatment.
5.
Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life. Food insecurity refers to the inadequate or insecure access to food due to lack of money. Food insecurity is a serious issue – it is a strong social determinant of health and is closely linked to many negative health outcomes, including chronic physical and mental health problems.
