DATA PROCESSING EXERCISES
SIGNAL FLOWS TRIGGERING QUANTIZED TONES

An exploration of MIDI data triggered by audio created by means of virtual analog synthesis. Audio tracks were created and then converted to MIDI data. This MIDI data was used to trigger preset sounds on a generic General MIDI module. Audio and rendered MIDI data were subsequently combined into new finished tracks.

Artwork underwent a similar process with completed tracks being converted into images and then extreme pixellation effects were used to simulate the creation of MIDI data.

These conversions are EPiC.
